MOSCOW, February 25 (R-Sport) - Dynamo Moscow's promising forward Andrei Panyukov said Monday that Russian champions Zenit St. Petersburg want to sign him.

The 18-year-old striker joined second-tier FC Khimki on loan last week, after impressing with brief appearances for Dynamo earlier in the season.

“Originally, Zenit started the negotiations much earlier, but Dynamo decided not to hurry with this issue,” Panyukov said on Khimki website.

“I am not thinking about it at the moment. I belong to Dynamo and now on loan at Khimki, so I have to prove myself here.”

In July, Panyukov extended his contract with Dynamo until 2015.

Panyukov made his Premier League debut in July and has played four games for Dynamo this season, scoring the winner in a 2-1 Russian Cup victory over Khimki in October.

He has scored six goals in seven games for Russia's under-21 team.
