MOSCOW, November 26 (R-Sport) - Alania Vladikavkaz have signed Brazilian-born midfielder Renan Bressan from Belarusian side BATE Borisov, the Russian Premier League strugglers said Monday.
The Belarus international, 24, has played in all five of BATE's Champions League group games this season and joins on a contract that runs until the end of the 2015-16 season.
"In the next few days, the player will undergo a medical examination, after which he will become a full player of the Vladikavkaz team," Alania said in a statement.
Bressan has scored 11 goals in 26 appearances in for BATE in the league this season, and is a former top scorer in the Belarusian league.
He has eight caps for Belarus, scoring three times and played at the London 2012 Olympics.
Alania are second from bottom in the Russian Premier League with 10 points from 17 matches and without a win in 13 games.
